Subhas Chandra Bose, popularly known as Netaji ("Respected Leader"), is one of the most respected politicians of modern India. And though some may disagree with his methods, one cannot deny that he was a man of conviction who gave his all in the struggle for a free India.
It might be of interest to readers that he was in Malaysia and Singapore too for a period of time. Some of his travels, views and experiences were portrayed in 2007 in a brilliant theatre production entitled, I, Bose, by local playwright Elangovan and his group, Agni Koothu.
