6 years of Orangutan genocide in Kalimantan

While you watch this video, forests in Borneo, Indonesia are being destroyed and cleared for palm oil plantation. Without forests, Orangutans are left hungry and miserably homeless. The lives of Orangutans at the tip of machetes, rifles and excavators. Though our close relatives, the suffering of Orangutans continues only to meet business profit.

The Centre for Orangutan Protection was founded on March 2007. The primary objective of COP is to raise awareness of the desperate plight of orangutans in Indonesia due to massive, and often illegal, forest conversion for palm oil plantation.
