I wouldn't call the TR article a report on the forum. Typical of its sensationalist editorial slant, it's more about the Chiam-Chee spat.

Which leads me to my next point:

While the PAP-controlled media would be more than happy to compromise their professional integrity, if they have any to begin with, and ignore a newsworthy event such as this one - they paycheque is assured, anyway, as is their low productive capacity due to that lack of professionalism - why do you suppose that both TR and TOC followed the PAP-controlled media's direction?

Neither 'non-partisan' newsblogs gave pre-event publicity either, not that the forum sufferred too greatly from it judging by the turnout.
